More Than a Store: How One Young Woman is Making Motherhood Easier in Arbat Camp

Meet Slava Masoud, a remarkable graduate from our Hello Future Small Business Incubator who saw a need in her community and turned it into a beautiful reality!

When Slava joined us in 2022, she brought something special to the classroom - a voice that wasn't afraid to speak up for what matters. While some might rush into decisions, Slava had this amazing way of thinking things through, making sure every choice counted. That's just who she is: thoughtful, determined, and unstoppable once she sets her mind to something!

Then came her brilliant idea: Mira Maternity Shop! In Arbat Refugee Camp, expectant mothers faced a challenging reality - finding comfortable, stylish maternity wear meant difficult trips outside the camp, often during the most uncomfortable stages of pregnancy. Slava knew there had to be a better way.

Her vision? Create more than just a shop - build a sanctuary where pregnant women could feel celebrated and understood. Today, Mira Maternity Shop is exactly that! Step inside and you'll find walls painted in cheerful colors, racks filled with carefully selected clothing, and most importantly, a space where every mother-to-be feels valued and supported.

But running a business while studying? Not easy! Yet Slava managed it all with the same careful thought she brings to everything. Each challenge she faced only made her stronger and more confident.

In Slava's own inspiring words: "Running every aspect of my shop by myself has been such an incredible journey. All the hard work I've put in hasn't just built a business and my confidence too!"

What makes this story even more special? Slava isn't just selling clothes - she's creating a community. Every piece in her shop represents hope, strength, and the beautiful journey of motherhood. She's ensuring that even in a refugee camp, expecting mothers can feel special and supported during one of life's most precious moments.

Your donation helps more entrepreneurs like Slava make a difference in their community!
