Scaling Impactful Youth Development & Future of Work Skill Through Partnerships
Something incredible is happening in Jordan right now.
Our trainers are leading sessions with Jordan's Ministry of Youth, Technology & Jobs, teaching frontline youth workers how to deliver Hello Future's curriculum to teenagers across the country. Over just three weeks, we've trained 50 new teachers across 3 partner organizations in Jordan. The energy in these training rooms is electric – local educators discovering new ways to build confidence, leadership, and opportunity for the young people they serve.
These aren't just any educators. They're the ones who work directly with Syrian, Palestinian, and Jordanian teenagers – kids who've seen more hardship than most of us can imagine. And these trainers are learning our methodology not because someone told them to, but because they've seen what it does for young people.
This is our Partnerships to Scale model in action. After nine years of developing and refining our trauma-informed curriculum in refugee camps, we've built something that can be shared, adapted, and delivered by local organizations worldwide. We provide the training, curriculum, and ongoing support – partners bring the local knowledge and cultural understanding. Together, we're creating exponential impact without losing the quality that makes our programs work.
The Partnership That's Redefining What's Possible
Our partnership with the International Rescue Committee began as a pilot last February. Now it's a core component of their youth programming in Jordan. The latest results from 10 cohorts serving over 220 students tell an incredible story.:
When we see parents reporting their teenagers showing positive changes at home – communicating better, taking initiative, demonstrating hope for the future – that's validation that the approach works. We're watching Ahmad's mother see her son teach his younger siblings what he learned. We're seeing Nour's father witness his daughter transform from silent to leading group discussions.
Even 18+ students with additional educational opportunities are reporting 30-49% increases across critical skills – from digital literacy to problem-solving, from self-confidence to community engagement. But here's what keeps me up at night with excitement: 8 out of 10 students taught what they learned to 4-8 of their peers. They're becoming teachers themselves, creating a ripple effect that reached 1,000+ youth indirectly. 97% of students rated their instructors as excellent. And that 86% completion rate? In programs where attendance is voluntary and teenagers could walk away anytime, they chose to stay.
Why This Matters Now More Than Ever
With the shake-up in global humanitarian aid, it's more crucial than ever for organizations to collaborate and share what works. We're not just offering another program – we're providing cutting-edge, AI-integrated curriculum that meets youth where they are, enabling partners to add proven innovative programming to their communities with speed and ease. Our curriculum uniquely combines:
AI literacy integrated into 5 of our 9 programs (we were the first NGO to offer this to refugees)
Trauma-informed approaches developed over 9 years in refugee camps
21st-century skills aligned with World Economic Forum's top competencies
Holistic youth development based on USAID's Positive Youth Development framework
Partners get everything they need: comprehensive training, full curriculum access, ongoing support, and monitoring tools – all designed to ensure quality while allowing local adaptation.
The Demand Is Growing – From Every Corner
After seeing our IRC results, the calls started coming faster than we could answer them:
Kenya – 21st-century skills for at-risk youth
Somaliland – Girls' education and economic mobility
Colombia – Training youth workers for Venezuelan and rural teens
Pakistan – Tech-literacy and entrepreneurship for girls
United States – Partnering with refugee-led organizations
Each call starts the same way: "We heard about what you're doing. Can you help us do it too?"
Real Impact, From Real Students
Before I sign off, I want to share what Rama, one of our IRC students in Jordan, wrote about her instructor:
"Mr. Hafez is giving us a whole lifestyle. We're able to think and address many things inside us that aren't right, which may be the most needed change in our lives. Personally, many things have changed inside me, and I can say that I've been 'healed."
Another student, Saja, shared:
"Through these courses, I felt a big change in my personality. My perspective on life has changed—I no longer give up easily, and I've learned to face challenges in a more mature way. I truly felt like I was in a supportive and safe space."
This is what happens when the right curriculum meets passionate local educators. Every partnership we form, every organization we train, every curriculum we share – it all leads to moments when teenagers discover they're capable of more than they imagined.
