Development, For Impact

Miriam Mohamed brings 15 years of nonprofit leadership to Hello Future, with deep roots in youth advocacy, refugee empowerment, and post-conflict education. A child of Somali immigrants, Miriam developed a USAID-funded livelihood resource center in Hargeisa, Somalia, equipping young people aged 18–24 with marketable skills and a pathway to self-determination — work that mirrors Hello Future's core belief that education leads to self-reliance. She has led multidisciplinary teams and statewide networks within Ohio's child advocacy center movement, coordinating intervention and prevention services for vulnerable youth. As a Partner and Coach at For Impact, Miriam now helps mission-driven organizations tell their story and fund their vision, bringing that same clarity and urgency to Hello Future's growth. She holds degrees in Biology and Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies from Goshen College and lives in Columbus, Ohio.
